Aerial acts

SM SuperSilksAerial acts are an incredibly demanding art and require a high degree of strength, power, flexibility, courage, and grace to perform. They are captivating to watch and add a wow factor to any event. An aerial performance usually lasts 5-10 minutes.

These disciplines can also be offered as lower pace background performances known as hangabout, the timescale of which is dependant on the discipline in question

Aerial silks:
Hanging fabric is used to wrap, suspend, fall, swing, and spiral the performer into and out of various positions. This art is both elegant and striking to watch. 

Corde lisse:
Aerial rope, very similar to silks, and also suitable for outdoor performance.

Trapeze:
is a short horizontal bar hung by ropes. The performer moves around the bar and ropes, performing balances, drops, and hangs.

Hoop:
Aerial acrobatics are performed on a suspended hoop, which frames the artist making them an aesthetic focal point
